DPDP Compliance

OnlineIndianWebPayments is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of digital personal data. This page explains how we uphold your rights under this law, even though we do not collect or store personal data through user registration or databases.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India, and also to processing outside India if it relates to Indian citizens. While OnlineIndianWebPayments does not require users to register or provide personal information, we may inadvertently collect limited, non-identifiable data through automated means such as website analytics, server logs, and cookies. This page outlines how we handle such data in compliance with the DPDP.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access information about how your digital personal data is processed
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your digital personal data
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated
  • Right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

Note: Since we do not collect identifiable personal data through forms or accounts, these rights primarily apply to data collected automatically, such as IP addresses or cookie identifiers that may be linked to you.

How We Comply

OnlineIndianWebPayments complies with the DPDP by:

  • Minimizing data collection to only what is necessary for website functionality
  • Using anonymized analytics tools that do not identify individuals
  • Not storing any personal data in databases or user profiles
  • Providing clear notice about data collection via our Privacy Policy
  • Responding to requests to access, correct, or delete data within the legally mandated timeframe

Data We Process

The only data we process automatically includes:

  • IP addresses (anonymized where possible)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics and functionality

This data is not linked to names, emails, phone numbers, or other identifiers. We do not collect Aadhaar, bank details, or any sensitive personal data.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of data is based on legitimate interest under Section 6(1) of the DPDP, to ensure website security, improve user experience, and provide accurate analytics. We do not rely on consent for this limited, non-identifying data collection, as it is not used for profiling, targeted advertising, or commercial sale.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please contact us via email at [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your name or identifier (if available)
  2. The specific right you wish to exercise (access, correction, deletion)
  3. Any supporting details about the data in question

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond fully within 30 days, as required by the DPDP.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are legally required to respond to your requests within 30 days of receipt. In exceptional cases, we may extend this by an additional 15 days and will notify you of the delay with reasons.

No Discrimination Policy

We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP. Your choice to access, correct, or delete data will not affect your ability to use our website or access our content.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
